Tour program

Day 1

Bishkek to Issyk Kul lake South Shore (300 kms – 4-5 hrs)

Meet your guide. Pick up from accommodation.
Burana Complex (11th Century). Visit the ancient Burana Minaret,
open-air ‘balbal’ monuments site, and local history museum. Traditional Lunch. Enjoy Kyrgyz cuisine, including kattama. Scenic

Drive via Boom Gorge. Wild Beach Stop. Pause at a quiet, undeveloped beach for a
peaceful break by the Issyk Kul lake. Continue over the scenic Kesken-Bel Pass with sweeping views of Issyk-Kul’s southern landscapes. Visit the site of traditional eagle hunters.Live Eagle Hunting Show &
Taigan Show Experience an authentic demonstration of eagle hunting traditions
and see the famous Taigan hunting dogs in action. Followed by archery session.

Overnight stay: Guesthouse with mountain views and panorama in Bokonbaevo. Stay in
traditional yurts or wooden cottages

Day 2

Bokonbaevo & Karakol South Shore (180 kms – 5-6 hrs)

ConUnue the journey along the scenic and quieter southern
shoreline. Fairy Tale Canyon (Skazka Canyon). Explore the surreal red rock
formations of Fairy Tale Canyon—one of the most photogenic landscapes in the region. Barskoon Gorge. Travel to Barskoon

Gorge and follow the Barskoon River through dense forest and granite cliffs. Waterfall Hike & Gagarin Monument
Take a 1–2 km hike to the Barskoon waterfalls and visit the Gagarin Statue, commemorating the first cosmonaut’s visit.
Jeti Oguz Valley. Visit the famous red rock formations, including the iconic “Seven Bulls” and the “Broken Heart”.

Day 3

North Shore and Chon Kemin valley (290 kms – 5-6 hrs)

Drive Along the North Shore of Issyk-Kul Lake Continue your journey along the picturesque northern shoreline.
Open-Air Hot Springs in Korumdu. Relax in natural hot mineral springs located in the open air near the lake.

Enjoy both hot and cold pool therapy. OR Visit Semenov Gorge and enjoy the alpine river, mountain
scenery. Explore Kyrchyn Valley, the site of the First World Nomad Games. Free time to walk, relax, or take photos in the valley.

Optional activity: Private boat ride in Cholpon Ata Yacht Club. Depart Issyk Kul and drive via scenic Boom Gorge to Chon Kemin
Arrive in Chon-Kemin Valley and enjoy the local village and forested mountain surroundings.

Overnight: Guesthouse in Chon Kemin valley

Day 4

Chon Kemin ac4vi4es & return to Bishkek (170 kms – 3hr)

Enjoy a peaceful morning in the valley, surrounded by serene
mountain landscapes.Morning Activities (Choose One):

• Hiking into the alpine forest and surrounding mountains
• Guided Horseback Riding to the mountains or along the
valley river (1-2 hours)
• Horse carriage riding (1-2 hours)

Free Time in the Valley
Stop at a scenic panoramic viewpoint where two alpine rivers join in
the Boom Gorge.
Lunch en route to the city.
Arrival in Bishkek around 4:00–5:00 PM.
